Food:
There are several very nice, reasonably priced restaurants fairly nearby.  Vegetarian options are available. We are planning to eat out for dinner and bring food for lunch and breakfast.  There is a full kitchen for our use with ample refrigerator space and area for eating, so you may bring food if you like.  We suggest bringing food at least for breakfast and snacks.

Willow Rest
The Lobster Pool

Via automobile:
Directions from Boston Area/Logan Airport (please adapt to your location):

Take either Route 1 or Route 93 North
to Route 128 North
(Drive is approximately ONE HOUR to Gloucester and Rockport depending on traffic. Traffic may be heavy, due to Labor Day weekend.)

After passing exits to Beverly, Essex, continue on 128 North to Gloucester.
You will cross a high bridge onto Cape Ann.  The bridge will end with a traffic circle/rotary.
Go THREE QUARTERS of the way around this traffic circle
and Exit onto Route 127 North (Washington Street).
You will pass Addison-Gilbert Hospital on your Left.
Route 127 is a winding road -- you'll go through small villages, look for a sign saying ENTERING ROCKPORT on your right.
Granite Street curves to the right and goes up a hill.
There is a left just before the top of the hill,
a WINDHOVER sign, and a DRIVEWAY.
Turn LEFT into a big field parking lot near the sign. Park here and walk toward the buildings.
